Role overview
Take full command of a 71-meter, 1,500 GT yacht in Dubai.
Oversee safe navigation, operational compliance, maintenance, budgeting, crew leadership, and onboard service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assume full command and operational control of the yacht.
- Ensure safe navigation and passage planning, with compliance with international maritime laws and ISM/ISPS/STCW requirements.
- Lead cross-departmental deck, engine, and interior crew.
- Manage maintenance schedules, shipyard visits, and operational budgets.
- Oversee onboard safety protocols, drills, and guest/owner service standards.
Requirements
- Master Unlimited / Master (CoC) or equivalent STCW certification.
- At least 5 years of Captain experience on 60-meter-or-larger mega yachts or similar luxury vessels.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of international marine safety, security, and port regulations.
- Valid ENG1 Marine Medical Certificate and all mandatory STCW security/safety modules.
Pay
- AED 8,000–10,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person in Dubai, UAE.
