The employer seeks an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant with 3–4 years of Dubai accounting experience.
The role requires practical experience with Xero and knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
- Maintain petty cash records and perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, monthly reports, and expense summaries.
- Manage VAT documentation and assist with VAT return preparation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation; monitor outstanding payments and cash flow records.
- Assist with payroll accounting and WPS-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and applicable UAE regulations.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of accounting experience in Dubai, UAE.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and UAE VAT regulations.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000–4,000 per month; the salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Work location
- Work is in person in Dubai, UAE.
Employment
The role is full-time.
