Full-time Accountant role in Dubai, UAE.
The employer seeks an experienced, detail-oriented accountant with 3–4 years of Dubai experience, practical Xero experience, and knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage invoices, receipts, payments, expenses, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts, maintain petty cash records, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, monthly reports, and expense summaries.
- Manage VAT documentation and assist with VAT return preparation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation; monitor outstanding payments and cash-flow records.
- Assist with payroll accounting and WPS documentation.
- Follow company accounting procedures and applicable UAE regulations.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of accounting experience in Dubai, UAE.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and UAE VAT regulations.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000–4,000 per month; salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
