Overview

**Vision X** is an Experiential and Immersive Technology studio based in UAE.

We build the kind of work that stops people in their tracks — mixed-reality activations, holographic displays, interactive installations, and spatial experiences for government, cultural, and brand clients across the region.

Every project we take on pushes what's technically possible.

The Role

You'll be our lead technical builder — taking projects from brief through to polished, deployed experience.

That means writing Unity code and shaders, owning the 3D pipeline, and being the person who figures out how something technically difficult actually gets done.

What You'Ll Do

– Build real-time XR experiences in Unity — for XR devices such as Quest 3, and passthrough AR — from first prototype to client-ready delivery.

– Own the full 3D asset pipeline: modelling or directing modelling, shaders, LOD, PBR baking, and Unity import/optimisation.

– Write clean, maintainable C# — systems architecture, interaction mechanics, performance profiling, and device optimisation.

– Work directly with internal teams to translate briefs into technical scopes; flag risks early and solve them creatively.

– Collaborate with our UX/UI designer on interaction flows and ensure design intent survives the implementation.

– Stay ahead of the platform curve — Quest OS updates, new SDK capabilities, hardware we're evaluating.

What We'Re Looking For (Must Have)

– 5+ years of professional Unity development with a portfolio of shipped XR or interactive experiences.

– Strong C# — you write well-structured code without needing a framework to lean on. – Hands-on Meta Quest 3 delivery: you've optimised for mobile GPU, hit performance targets, handled device deployment.

– 3D pipeline fluency — comfortable in Blender or Maya; you understand PBR, UVs, LOD, and why they matter in real-time.

– HLSL / shader writing — enough to build custom visual effects and understand what's happening under the hood.

– A games background is strongly preferred: lean teams, tight deadlines, and shipping is the culture.

– Experience with holographic display formats — fan arrays, holoboxes, transparent LCD, or similar.

– AR Foundation / Vuforia or spatial anchor–based experiences.

– Multi-device sync, WebSocket or real-time data integration in live event contexts.

Nice To Have

– After Effects for alpha-channel / holographic content pipelines.

– Experience working in a small studio or agency and creative offerings

– Ability to leverage new Ai tools to speed up workflows as well as create necessary assets inc for POC purposes.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
