Role overview

Workshop and repair duties

• Oversee workshop operations and ensure work is efficient, safe, and completed to high standards.
• Assist the Service Engineer with diagnosing equipment problems and determining repairs.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment, perform diagnostic tests, and identify worn or damaged parts.
• Repair, adjust, overhaul, assemble, disassemble, and replace major assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Attend client-site repair jobs and carry out hydraulic repairs.
• Test repaired equipment and confirm proper performance and completed work quality.
• Prepare service reports and carry out other duties assigned by managers.
• Maintain hire equipment as required and assist the truck repair section.
• Work to improve operations, reduce turnaround times, and streamline processes.

Requirements and experience

• Must have experience with heavy-duty CAT, Komatsu, or Volvo equipment.
• Workshop Manager experience with heavy equipment is required, with at least five years working on mining dumpers, excavators, or wheel loaders.
• Mechanical Engineering graduation or diploma is required.
• Candidates should be able to troubleshoot and inspect equipment, assess repair scope, and adjust or replace defective parts.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and ability to keep up with technology changes are required.
• Mining crusher work experience is preferred.

Compensation

• The description lists monthly pay of AED 5,000–5,500 and also AED 6,000 or more per month.
• Accommodation, transportation, and food are provided at the work site.

Work arrangement

• Work location is in person.
• Client-site repair attendance is part of the role.
