WORKSHOP MANAGER

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage workshop-floor workflow and coordinate technicians and mechanics.
• Assist the Service Engineer with equipment diagnosis, inspections, tests, and repair decisions.
• Repair or replace defective assemblies and components; attend site repairs and carry out hydraulic work.
• Test repaired equipment, write service reports, maintain hire equipment, and assist the truck repair section.
• Help improve operations, reduce turnaround times, and streamline processes; carry out other assigned duties.

Requirements and experience

• Experience with heavy-duty equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, and Volvo is required.
• At least 5 years as a workshop manager for mining heavy equipment, including dumpers, excavators, and wheel loaders.
• Graduation in Mechanical Engineering or a diploma.
• The posting also names Sanny, Liugong, and Sachman equipment in its experience requirement.
• Mining crusher experience is preferred.

Technical skills

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment, determine repair scope, adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability, logical thinking, and ability to keep up with technology changes.

Employment and compensation

• Job type is full-time.
• Pay is AED 10,000–15,000 per month.
