Role overview

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of accounting, cost accounting, or cost-control experience.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in mining, quarrying, cement, ready-mix, construction, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or infrastructure is strongly preferred.
• UAE or GCC industrial operations experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, cost centers, fixed and variable costs, budgeting and forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, accounts payable, accruals and prepaid expenses, purchase orders and GRNs, three-way matching, and vendor reconciliation.
• Knowledge of cash-flow forecasting, equipment cost analysis, and management reporting.
• Strong Excel skills, including the ability to work with large operational and financial datasets.
• Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP/accounting systems are an advantage.

Operational focus

• Connect production, equipment usage, fuel, maintenance, procurement, inventory, costs, and profitability.
• Provide accurate information to help improve operating performance and financial control.

Pay

• Advertised pay is AED 5,000–10,000 per month.

Work location

• The role is based in Fujairah, UAE; work location is in person.
