The Quarry Manager / Mining Engineer manages quarry and plant operations, production, quality, costs, assets, and workforce matters.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, direct, and run day-to-day operations.
- Increase production, asset capacity, and flexibility while reducing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality.
- Manage production output, product quality, and on-time shipping; allocate resources and utilise assets effectively.
- Implement aligned strategies, provide direction, monitor operations, and initiate corrective actions.
- Analyse data to identify waste or overtime and maintain plant safety procedures.
- Develop systems to track and optimise productivity, standards, metrics, and performance targets.
- Address employee issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mining.
- GCC crusher experience, particularly in limestone production, is preferred.
- Reliable commute to Fujairah or relocation before starting work is required.
Compensation and employment
- Full-time position.
- Pay is AED 5,000–10,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Fujairah.
