Workday Systems Analyst - Financials

Role overview

Core responsibilities

• Support production issues, process design initiatives, and new module implementations.
• Gather requirements, research functionality, test solutions, and support implementations.
• Develop and maintain Prism datasets, data sources, calculated fields, and dashboards.
• Translate business requirements into Workday reports, dashboards, integrations, and accounting rules.
• Maintain security roles, data governance, reporting strategy, upgrades, and Workday releases.
• Provide training, documentation, stakeholder support, and assistance with complex reporting requests.

Required experience and skills

• At least 4 years of Workday Finance experience in implementation, consulting, or technical support.
• At least 2 years implementing or supporting Workday Prism and/or Accounting Center.
• Strong communication, collaboration, teamwork, and technical writing skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Workday FIN Core and Workday Prism certification is preferred.
• Full project lifecycle and Workday implementation experience is advantageous.
• Experience with ERP concepts, finance processes, reporting, Workday configuration, integrations, and stakeholder needs assessment is advantageous.
• JIRA experience and third-party billing or revenue integration experience are a plus.

Compensation

• The anticipated Canadian compensation range is CAD 84,400 to CAD 101,500 annually.
• Compensation may also include bonuses, commissions, equity, or other incentive programs where applicable.
