WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work with Connect and CRM Ops, and learn how a whole team test approach works in practice
  • Take part in quality practices such as "3 amigos" sessions, bug bashes, incident learning reviews, testability reviews and operability reviews
  • Join discussions on technical decisions and ask questions that improve testability
  • Collaborate with your teammates to identify and automate the appropriate tests
  • Exploratory test with the team and help uncover unexpected risks
  • Contribute to a fast, reliable pipeline that gives feedback on every change as it moves towards production
  • Collaborate with Design, Product and Customer Success to better understand our customers and help manage customer incidents
  • WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Experience (or an industry placement / bootcamp could be considered) in a software testing or quality role
  • Experience with exploratory testing, or a clear willingness to build that skill on the job
  • Interest in applying different techniques, tools and approaches based on context
  • Curiosity about testing technically complex systems, and comfort learning them with support
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Passionately team-oriented and collaborative
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and systems
  • AND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE
  • A first experience writing or maintaining automated tests
  • Knowledge of when and when not to use automation in testing
  • Exposure to Continuous Delivery or CI pipelines
  • Interest in Testing in Production, Reliability, Security or Performance testing
  • Testing Community Involvement
