Lead Work Health, Safety and Wellbeing strategy, governance and culture across Australia and New Zealand.
The role covers corporate offices, field teams, customer-facing operations and seven national distribution centres.
Act as Site Safety Manager for the Mascot headquarters and manage physical and psychosocial risks across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the ANZ WHS strategy, governance framework and safety management system, including ISO 45001 implementation.
- Manage safety risks across offices, warehouses, logistics, service operations and distribution centres.
- Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, audits, regulatory engagement and safety training.
- Oversee wellbeing, workers' compensation, return-to-work, injury management, insurance and claims activities.
- Report safety performance and recommendations to the ANZ Leadership Team.
Candidate requirements
- Extensive WHS strategy leadership experience in large, complex, multi-site organisations.
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, consumer goods or related operational environments.
- Deep knowledge of Australian and New Zealand WHS legislation.
- Experience implementing ISO 45001 or comparable safety management systems.
- Strong risk management, governance, incident investigation and organisational change capabilities.
- Experience with wellbeing, psychosocial risk and workers' compensation frameworks.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in WHS, Occupational Health, Risk Management or a related discipline.
