Sr. Software Engineer (.NET, Node.js, Azure)

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs, microservices, and data access services for business-critical domains.
• Build high-performance integrations with third-party systems and enterprise platforms.
• Design cloud-native, event-driven solutions using REST, GraphQL, asynchronous messaging, and event streaming.
• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, product teams, and engineering teams on technical solutions.
• Model and optimize data for high-volume transactional and read-heavy workloads.
• Contribute to architecture decisions for scalability, resilience, caching, observability, security, and performance.
• Identify technical debt and recommend improvements to architecture, code quality, and operational stability.
• Support release management, CI/CD, monitoring, incident analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Apply engineering best practices including testing, automation, security, maintainability, and documentation.

Who are you

• Have 8 or more years of professional backend software engineering experience, preferably with data-intensive or high-volume transactional systems.
• Have strong experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, microservices, and cloud-native backend services.
• Have strong programming experience in TypeScript or Java, or another modern backend language.
• Understand distributed systems, API-first development, domain-driven design, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
• Have hands-on experience with NoSQL or document databases, preferably MongoDB, including data modeling and performance tuning.
• Have experience with event-driven architectures using Azure Event Hubs, Event Grid, Service Bus, Kafka, or similar platforms.
• Have experience with cloud platforms, containers, and Kubernetes; Azure and AKS are preferred.
• Have experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Understand logging, monitoring, observability, and production support using Application Insights or equivalent.
• Have experience in agile teams using automated testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and iterative delivery.
• Have fluent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and domains.

• The role involves collaboration with distributed teams, architects, engineers, product owners, and stakeholders across markets and platforms.
