The employer seeks an expert Shopify Web Developer with strong AI experience to build, customize, optimize, and manage e-commerce stores.
Shopify expertise is mandatory; applicants without strong, proven Shopify development experience will not be considered.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores, themes, sections, templates, landing pages, and storefront features.
- Integrate AI tools, chatbots, recommendation systems, automation, and OpenAI or similar APIs.
- Integrate payment, shipping, inventory, and third-party solutions; develop custom apps or integrations when needed.
- Optimize performance, mobile responsiveness, SEO, user experience, and conversion rates; troubleshoot technical issues and maintain store stability.
- Implement analytics, tracking, and automation tools and stay current with Shopify, e-commerce, and AI developments.
Mandatory requirements
- Expert Shopify development and store management experience; proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Proven Shopify theme development and advanced customization experience.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
- Practical AI tools, API, or automation integration experience, plus knowledge of e-commerce functionality, checkout, and conversion optimization.
- Experience troubleshooting complex Shopify issues and delivering production-ready solutions.
- Portfolio of live Shopify stores or completed Shopify projects required.
Preferred skills
- Shopify Plus, headless Shopify, Hydrogen, or custom storefront experience.
- AI-powered customer support, recommendations, or content automation experience.
- SEO, Google Analytics, conversion tracking, and performance optimization knowledge.
- Git, deployment workflows, and version control experience.
