Stock Controller

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels; receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Record stock receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments in the inventory system; conduct physical counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Store, label, and organize products and materials; monitor movement and identify low-, fast-, slow-, and excess-stock items.
• Coordinate with purchasing and sales to maintain product availability and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Investigate discrepancies, damaged items, and missing products and report them to management.
• Handle and store fragrance products to prevent leakage, breakage, and damage; keep the stockroom or warehouse clean and organized.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, Storekeeper, or in a similar position.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel; attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to conduct stock counts and maintain accurate records; good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team; honest and dependable.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in perfume, cosmetics, FMCG, or retail is an advantage.
• Experience handling perfumes, fragrance oils, cosmetics, or packaging materials is preferred.
• Familiarity with stock management software or ERP systems is preferred.
• Ability to prepare inventory reports and maintain proper documentation is preferred.
