Production Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise perfume production to meet targets and delivery deadlines.
• Oversee compounding, blending, filling, bottling, labeling, packaging, and finished-product preparation.
• Coordinate with fragrance, warehouse, quality control, purchasing, and sales departments.
• Monitor raw material and packaging availability and usage; schedule production around orders, stock, and deliveries.
• Maintain product quality, standard operating procedures, hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, train, and motivate production staff; monitor costs, wastage, equipment performance, and efficiency.
• Maintain production, batch, material consumption, and output records; investigate defects with quality control.
• Ensure material handling, storage, and traceability; identify ways to reduce waste and improve productivity.

Qualifications and requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Manager, Production Supervisor, or in a similar manufacturing role.
• A bachelor's degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• Perfume, fragrance, cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of perfume blending, filling, bottling, and packaging processes.
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory coordination, quality control, and process improvement.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production or inventory management systems.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
