About This Role

Description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the transportation of goods and materials from the warehouse to various locations while maintaining timely and safe deliveries. In addition, the Warehouse Driver will provide staff pick and drop services as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse logistics. The candidate should possess excellent driving skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including trucks and vans.

KRA / KPI (Key Result Areas / Key Performance Indicators)

• Timely Deliveries: Ensure that all materials are delivered to their destinations on time as per the daily route schedule.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in good condition.
• Staff Transport: Safely transport staff to and from the warehouse as needed.
• Documentation: Ensure all delivery and pick-up documentation is completed accurately.
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain professional conduct and communication with customers and team members during deliveries.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Transportation: Transport goods and materials from the warehouse to various locations, including client sites, ports and other warehouses.
• Pick and Drop Services: Provide transportation for warehouse staff as required, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
• Vehicle Operation: Operate various types of vehicles (trucks, vans, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Route Planning: Follow assigned routes for deliveries and pick-ups, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
• Inventory Management Support: Assist in loading and unloading goods, and verify items being transported against shipping orders.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain the vehicle in clean and operational condition, conducting basic vehicle inspections and reporting any issues.
• Record Keeping: Complete necessary documentation, including delivery logs and transport forms, for goods transported.
• Communication: Maintain communication with the warehouse team and supervisors to report on delivery status and any issues.
• Adherence to Schedule: Meet delivery deadlines and work according to the daily transportation schedule.

Work Experience

• Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in warehouse driving or a similar logistics/transportation role.
• Experience in operating various types of vehicles such as trucks, vans, or forklifts.
• Proven track record of adhering to safety and driving regulations.
