Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree or technical certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.
- Proficiency with warehouse processes and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and time‐management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack).
- Problem‐solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekend shifts as required.
Responsibilities
- Assign and prioritize daily work tasks for warehouse staff.
- Monitor and verify inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely loading and unloading.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with paperwork, reporting, and data entry.
- Train new hires on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks to improve productivity.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and schedule maintenance as needed.
- Communicate effectively with cross‐functional teams, including procurement and logistics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
