Its export division, Domus Farms, ships flowers to Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, and North Africa.
Role overview
Lead warehouse and supply-chain operations for perishable flowers, moving fresh stock from airport arrival to clients quickly, safely, and at the right temperature across two warehouses.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily Dubai warehouse operations and coordinate with Abu Dhabi on receiving, cold-room storage, sorting, packing, and dispatch.
- Plan and manage the delivery fleet, drivers, and routes for on-time service seven days a week.
- Coordinate airport cargo pickups, customs clearance, and import documents with airlines, freight agents, and clearing agents.
- Manage export shipments, documentation, packing standards, and bookings for Domus Farms.
- Protect the cold chain and flower quality while minimizing spoilage and wastage.
- Control stock levels, conduct stock counts, and report inventory and wastage accurately.
- Manage warehouse staff, drivers, and helpers, including rosters, performance, and training.
- Maintain safety, hygiene, UAE regulatory compliance, and the condition of vehicles and equipment.
- Control logistics costs and track on-time delivery, order accuracy, and wastage.
- Work with Sales, Purchasing, and Customer Service to meet daily and seasonal demand.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of logistics experience, including strong warehouse management experience; Dubai or UAE experience is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of UAE import/export procedures, customs clearance, and airport cargo handling.
- Proven experience leading teams, including drivers and warehouse staff.
- Good command of English; Arabic and other languages are advantageous.
- Skills in Excel and inventory or warehouse management systems; strong planning and problem-solving, with composure under pressure.
- Flexibility for peak seasons, early mornings, and weekends.
- A valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred experience
- Experience with perishable goods, cold chain, or fresh produce is highly preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000–6,000 per month, depending on experience.
- Visa and standard benefits are provided as per UAE Labour Law.
