Experience and qualifications
- Requires 3–5 years of warehouse operations experience; experience in a similar industry is preferred.
- Minimum qualification is a diploma or bachelor’s degree.
- A UAE forklift driving license is mandatory.
Skills and knowledge
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory handling, receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching is required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
- The role requires freight estimation, dimensional-weight calculation, and handling invoices and percentage calculations.
- Candidates should understand health, safety, and warehouse procedures and operate equipment safely.
- Good communication and teamwork skills are required, as is the ability to work under operational pressure and meet deadlines.
- Candidates must be able to handle physical warehouse activities safely.
Warehouse responsibilities
- Conduct inbound quality assurance and quality control checks; allocate and organize bin locations based on item dimensions and type.
- Record received stock-keeping units, and audit physical incoming and outgoing materials against system entries.
- Perform outbound packing quality checks and pack materials to account for transport handling.
- Load and unload containers and materials, including lengthy materials, using a forklift.
- Ensure documentation is issued before releasing or receiving shipments from Jebel Ali Free Zone.
- Inspect warehouse equipment for currency and compliance with safety guidelines.
- Manage petty cash for warehouse supplies and shipment-related expenses.
- Prepare reports on pending and packed shipments and maintain serial-number trackers for outbound automatic operators.
Pay
- Pay is AED 4,500–5,000 per month.
