Join the hotel's Food & Beverage team as a customer-focused Waitress.
Provide guest service, take and serve food and beverage orders, and maintain cleanliness and hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, present menus, and provide accurate information about food and beverage items.
- Take orders accurately, communicate them to kitchen or bar staff, and serve orders promptly.
- Attend to guest requests and handle concerns or complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain dining areas and service stations; clear and reset tables to service standards.
- Assist with upselling when appropriate and follow hotel policies and food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
- Work with colleagues and other departments and perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a waitress, waiter, or F&B server in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- One to two years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; professional presentation and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a multicultural team, handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- A Food Handling Certificate is an advantage or required as applicable.
