Job Purpose
Deliver efficient, friendly, and attentive food and beverage service.
Ensure guest satisfaction meets or exceeds hotel standards and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide food and beverage service according to established service standards and sequence.
- Greet guests warmly and actively solicit feedback.
- Handle guest complaints professionally or escalate them to supervisors when required.
- Maintain knowledge of menus, beverages, and wine lists.
- Coordinate with kitchen, stewarding, and housekeeping for smooth operations.
- Perform mise en place duties on time and to standard.
- Maintain cleanliness of front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
- Report engineering or housekeeping issues to the supervisor.
- Collect supplies from stores and handle laundry according to hotel procedures.
- Upsell menu items to maximize outlet revenue.
- Follow health, safety, fire, and emergency procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a waiter in a hotel or restaurant.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance, good hygiene, and a positive attitude.
- Team-oriented work style with ethical and honest work practices.
