Safir Doha Hotel seeks a detail-oriented, experienced General Accountant for its Finance team.
The full-time role supports accurate financial records, receivables monitoring, and daily accounting operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, billing, and collections.
- Reconcile guest ledger, city ledger, and credit card transactions; prepare daily revenue reports and post income accurately.
- Follow up with clients and companies about outstanding balances.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial report preparation; maintain transaction documentation.
- Coordinate with Front Office and other departments on billing discrepancies.
- Follow company financial policies and procedures, and support the Finance Manager with other accounting duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 2–3 years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Hospitality experience is preferred; Accounts Receivable or Revenue Audit experience is highly preferred.
- Hotel accounting operations experience, hotel PMS familiarity, and financial reporting procedure familiarity are preferred.
