Role overview

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, explain menu items, and provide recommendations when required.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen or bar team.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently according to hotel standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address requests or concerns promptly.
• Set up dining areas before service and clean tables after guests leave.
• Handle cash, bills, and payment transactions appropriately.
• Follow hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of restaurant, bar, and service stations.
• Coordinate with colleagues and supervisors to support smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous waiter/waitress experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• One year of hospitality experience is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Dubai location is required; work is in person.
