Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff activities and ensure prompt, professional, courteous guest service.
• Monitor operations and maintain hotel service standards.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and evaluating employees.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily objectives.
• Handle guest concerns, complaints, and special requests.
• Monitor table turnover and seating arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams; monitor inventory, shortages, and wastage.
• Support sales targets through upselling and promotions.
• Prepare operational reports, provide management feedback, and complete opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• English proficiency is required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
• Hotel experience is preferred.
