Guest service and orders
- Greet guests, present menus, explain items, and assist with selections.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen or bar; serve orders according to restaurant standards.
- Check on guests, respond promptly to requests, and handle complaints or refer issues to the Restaurant Manager.
- Promote menu items, offers, and additional products when appropriate.
Restaurant operations
- Set, clear, clean, and reset tables; handle crockery, cutlery, glassware, and restaurant equipment properly.
- Coordinate with kitchen, cashier, and front-of-house colleagues; support busy service periods and special events.
- Follow service, food safety, and hygiene procedures; maintain appropriate grooming and personal appearance.
- Perform opening, closing, and other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
Requirements
- One year of waiter or waitress experience is listed as required; zero to two years of hospitality experience is described as an advantage.
- Good communication and customer service skills; professional appearance, positive attitude, and teamwork.
- Arabic speaking ability and knowledge of Arabic cuisine and hospitality are advantages.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant and flexible to work shifts, weekends, long hours, and public holidays.
- Ready to join immediately.
