Role overview
The group is seeking confident, energetic, service-oriented waiters and waitresses for its lifestyle brands in Dubai.
The role provides attentive guest service and maintains strong food and beverage knowledge in premium, fast-paced, high-volume venues, including nightlife-led venues with late hours.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide attentive, professional service; present menus and explain dishes, ingredients, beverages, and specials.
- Take accurate orders in the POS system, recommend items, and appropriately upsell premium dishes, beverages, and promotions.
- Identify and clearly communicate allergies and dietary requirements; serve food and beverages according to the venue’s service sequence.
- Monitor tables, respond to requests, coordinate with kitchen, bar, runners, and reception, and maintain clean, prepared tables and service stations.
- Support brunches, special events, nightlife activations, and high-volume service; handle feedback and escalate concerns when needed.
- Process bills and payments accurately and follow grooming, hygiene, food-safety, and brand-service standards.
Ideal candidate
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a waiter or waitress.
- Previous experience in a luxury restaurant, fine-dining venue, beach club, lounge, or nightclub.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume, entertainment-led environments.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, guest-engagement skills, and upselling skills.
- Strong English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
- VIP and international guest service experience is advantageous.
- Polished appearance with excellent grooming and presentation.
