Reception Manager role leading reception, hostess, and reservations operations at SUSHISAMBA Dubai.
The role supports a high-volume luxury restaurant environment and aims to deliver strong guest experiences and smooth front-of-house operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the reception, hostess, and reservations team and maintain service and presentation standards.
- Oversee reservations, arrivals, table allocation, seating, and waiting lists to manage guest flow and table utilization.
- Welcome VIPs, regular guests, and guests celebrating special occasions; build relationships with guests, hotel partners, and key clientele.
- Coordinate with restaurant management and service teams, especially during peak periods.
- Handle enquiries, feedback, and complaints and provide prompt service recovery.
- Review reservation trends, guest preferences, and operational reports to identify service and business improvements.
- Manage team schedules, briefings, training, and performance development.
- Maintain the reception area and guest communications in line with the luxury brand.
Ideal candidate
- At least one year of Reception Manager experience in luxury restaurants or fine dining.
- Strong knowledge of reservation and table management systems; SevenRooms or similar platforms are relevant.
- Experience managing high-volume operations, VIP guests, and demanding expectations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, guest engagement, organization, and commercial skills.
- Understanding of table optimization and reservation management; able to lead proactively and remain composed under pressure.
- Professional presentation and passion for luxury hospitality.
- Fluent English is essential; additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience at reputable European luxury restaurants, fine dining venues, or premium lifestyle concepts is highly preferred.
