Role Overview

Strategy and Leadership

• Own the Graduate Resourcing strategy and operating plan in alignment with workforce requirements and the Bank’s people strategy.
• Set AVP priorities, performance expectations and accountabilities; oversee effective and coordinated delivery.
• Set direction for graduate attraction, assessment, selection, placement and development, with operational execution managed by AVPs and their teams.
• Oversee program governance, performance, risks, issues and milestones, resolving or escalating material matters.
• Ensure graduate programs support future workforce needs and the placement, development, progression and retention of UAE National graduate talent.

Partnerships and Program Delivery

• Partner with senior business and HR leaders to determine graduate demand, intake priorities, roles, placements and development opportunities.
• Build senior relationships with government entities, universities, educational institutions and external partners to strengthen the talent pipeline and employer brand.
• Oversee Emiratization campaigns, career fairs, university engagement and targeted graduate attraction initiatives.
• Oversee candidate assessment and selection approaches with Talent Development and other stakeholders.
• Review program metrics, dashboards and management information; act on material trends, risks and delivery gaps.
• Drive improvements to governance, candidate experience, program effectiveness, delivery standards and stakeholder outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 3 years of managerial responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• A master’s degree is an advantage.
• Professional certification in CIPD or a related discipline is preferred.
