Role overview

Customer and relationship manager support

• Handle customers’ day-to-day transactions and operations, enquiries, and queries referred by relationship managers.
• Update customers and relationship managers on customer portfolios as required.
• Support client queries and requests, including calling clients and sending or receiving documents.
• Help process client applications and obtain and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Prepare investment credit facility requests and monitor leverage coverage, maturities, and interest repayments.

Reporting and coordination

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including monthly sales reports for relationship managers.
• Coordinate with Operations, other stakeholders, the Investment Desk, and international middle- and back-office teams.
• Coordinate execution of customer investment-related requests with the Investment Desk.
• Enter and monitor customer data in the core banking system.
• Assist with communications to international locations and cover for teammates when needed.

Qualifications and capabilities

• Financial and investment services industry experience is required.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively, develop professional relationships, and handle complex or delicate situations.
• Use sound reasoning to interpret regulatory rules and compliance policies.
• Organize, prioritize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments.
• Communicate professionally, orally and in writing, with all organizational levels and coordinate across functional areas.

Financial product knowledge

• Knowledge of features, benefits, and risks of financial products and services sold to retail clients at different affluence and sophistication levels.
• Knowledge of retail banking and trust products and services.
• Investment product management and end-to-end investment and banking product lifecycle knowledge is a plus.
