Vinyl Wrapping Technician

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Install architectural vinyl wraps on furniture, cabinets, doors, wardrobes, walls, glass, countertops, and other interior surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, repairing, and ensuring proper adhesion before installation.
• Measure, cut, and apply vinyl accurately to achieve a seamless, bubble-free finish.
• Perform trimming, edge finishing, heat forming, and detailing to meet project specifications.
• Inspect completed work and carry out touch-ups or adjustments as required.
• Remove and replace damaged or existing vinyl wraps when necessary.
• Operate and maintain wrapping tools, heat guns, cutting tools, and application equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following company safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum **2–3 years of UAE/GCC experience** as a Vinyl Wrapping Technician.
• Strong experience in applying **architectural vinyl films** (wood grain, marble, solid colors, metallic, and decorative finishes).
• Ability to wrap flat, curved, and complex surfaces with precision.
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, aligning, and finishing vinyl installations.
• Knowledge of surface preparation and proper installation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Physically fit and willing to work on-site at residential and commercial properties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in interior fit-out, renovation, and furniture wrapping projects.
• Familiarity with premium architectural vinyl brands such as 3M, LG Hausys, Bodaq, LX Hausys, BENIF, or equivalent.
• Basic carpentry or joinery knowledge is an advantage.
