Spray Painter (Joinery)

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare wooden surfaces by sanding, filling, cleaning, and priming before painting.
• Apply primer, base coat, top coat, stain, lacquer, PU, polyester, and other finishing materials using spray guns.
• Perform high-quality finishing on furniture, cabinets, doors, wardrobes, wall panels, and other joinery products.
• Match paint colors and finishes according to project specifications and client requirements.
• Inspect finished products and perform touch-ups or repairs to achieve a flawless finish.
• Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, compressors, and tools.
• Ensure proper mixing and handling of paints, thinners, hardeners, and finishing materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized spray booth and work area.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures when handling paints and chemicals.
• Coordinate with the joinery production team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum **2–3 years of UAE/GCC experience** as a **Joinery Spray Painter**.
• Strong knowledge of PU, NC, polyester, lacquer, stains, primers, sealers, and wood finishing techniques.
• Experience spray painting MDF, plywood, veneer, solid wood, and other joinery materials.
• Ability to produce smooth, high-quality finishes with excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of color matching, surface preparation, and finishing standards.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in interior fit-out and custom furniture manufacturing.
• Knowledge of polishing and furniture restoration is an advantage.
