The Valet Attendant parks and retrieves guest vehicles safely while creating a welcoming arrival and departure experience.
This is a full-time, non-management role at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.
Valet and guest service duties
- Greet guests and park or retrieve vehicles promptly and professionally in accordance with traffic laws and hotel policies.
- Open vehicle and hotel entrance doors as appropriate; handle luggage and coordinate with Bell Services when needed.
- Issue and collect valet tickets accurately and inspect vehicles for existing damage, reporting findings.
- Maintain clean, organized parking areas and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Respond to guest requests and concerns and support Front Office and Guest Services operations.
Safety and property
- Follow safety, security, and cash-handling procedures.
- Protect guest property and vehicle keys and embody the Ritz-Carlton service standards.
Candidate profile
- A valid Qatar driving license is mandatory, and the role requires driving both automatic and manual vehicles.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Valet, guest services, hospitality, or customer service experience is an advantage; luxury hotel experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication, professional appearance, attention to detail, and basic English communication skills.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift items up to 25 kg, work outdoors in varying weather, and respond safely while handling vehicles.
- Rotational shifts may include weekends, public holidays, evenings, and overnight shifts.
