The UX/UI Front-End Developer will deliver user research, user experience and interface design, and front-end implementation for web portals and e-services.
The work aims to provide bilingual Arabic/English, accessible, consistent experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct user research and requirements workshops with business users and service owners.
- Create user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile services.
- Establish and maintain a bilingual/RTL design system and UI component library.
- Develop responsive, accessible front-end code and integrate it with back-end services.
- Ensure interfaces meet WCAG 2.1 AA and applicable UAE Government design standards.
- Plan and run usability tests; use findings to prioritize design improvements.
- Collaborate with React Native, ADF, and WebCenter developers to ensure consistency across channels.
Must-have skills
- UX research, wireframing, prototyping, and design systems using Figma or Adobe XD/Sketch.
- HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React or Angular.
- RTL Arabic and bilingual interface design and implementation.
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance and testing.
- Responsive, mobile-first design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Front-end integration with REST APIs and Oracle ADF/WebCenter skins or templates.
- Usability testing, analytics-driven design improvement, and compliance with UAE Government digital design and service standards.
Nice-to-have experience and certifications
- Experience with UAE PASS login journeys, Oracle WebCenter Portal skins, ADF Faces styling, or motion/interaction design is nice to have.
- NN/g UX, Google UX Design Professional, and IAAP accessibility certifications (CPACC/WAS) are listed as nice to have.
