The User Acquisition Lead owns acquisition strategy, budgets, creative direction, and app store presence, works autonomously, and reports to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own user acquisition strategy and paid-channel budget allocation, with accountability for growth and efficiency.
- Direct creative based on performance data and maintain a pipeline of effective creative.
- Own app store optimisation, including store metadata, visuals, experimentation, and alignment between organic and paid growth.
- Use internal AI and data tools to inform decisions, validate outputs, and apply judgment.
- Deliver weekly performance reports to leadership, including results, key bets, and reasoning.
- Coordinate with creative, data, and leadership to align strategy with business goals.
Requirements
- Proven ownership of a significant paid marketing budget; mobile gaming or app-based growth is ideal.
- Able to operate independently and set direction without task-level management.
- Strong data judgment and ability to validate automated reporting.
- Experience directing creative strategy and app store optimisation, beyond paid-channel execution alone.
- Excellent communication and ability to present performance data clearly to executives.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-assisted or automated marketing tools.
- Experience scaling user acquisition in a lean or AI-augmented team.
