Join a team of engineers providing technical expertise and customer service to clients.
Install and support hosted telephony and IT/datacoms systems.
Responsibilities
- Install and support telecoms and IT/datacoms systems; manage systems and faults through supplier portals.
- Generate, monitor and handle customer requests, issues and fault reports.
- Undertake surveys and support technical installation projects.
- Liaise with customers and third-party IT professionals to deliver and support solutions.
- Produce technical installation and support documentation; provide customer training.
- Work with service delivery and project teams.
Required skills and experience
- At least 2 years of IT or telecoms support experience and a working knowledge of IP networking.
- Understanding of VoIP, SIP, RTP, TCP/UDP, Layer 2 and 3 routing, VLANs, QoS, DNS, DHCP, LANs and WANs.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments; teamwork, flexibility and ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities.
- Full UK driving licence required.
Platforms and tools
- Gamma Horizon/call centre, Microsoft Teams, SpliceCom and Wildix are relevant; training is provided where necessary.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Wireshark.

Pay
- Pay is £36,000–£42,000 per year.
