Responsibilities
- Lead design efforts to create optimal user experiences, collaborating with cross functional teams and advocating for user centered design practices
- Conduct research and reuse design standards and principles whenever possible
- Help the team as a Lead UI/UX designer, collaborate across various departments and disciplines with initiatives that improve the quality of work and processes
- Test and iterate on design solutions based on user feedback and data analysis
- Design for complex and vague problems and deliver feasible results considering dependencies on technology, data, and other resources
- Proactive expectation management
- Lead the UI/UX design team and mentor junior designers, including setting design standards, providing design critique, and helping designers develop both hard and soft skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Visual or any relevant comparable discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in UX design
- User research, qualitative testing, working with, developing design systems or component libraries
- Fluent in Figma or similar software
- Experience with Design Systems, Wireframes, prototyping and user testing, Information Architecture
- Demonstrated experience using AI tooling for wireframing and rapid prototyping
- Design thinking and workshop facilitation capabilities
- Collaboration, leading design initiatives, expectation management skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic is preferred
- NN group, Design masterclasses, UI and UX certification preferred

About The Role
- The overall job purpose of a Lead UX Designer is to create user experiences that are delightful, efficient, and effective.
- They work with stakeholders to understand user needs, gather feedback, and iterate on designs.
- Lead UX Designers also play a key role in ensuring UX design is integrated into the overall product development process.

To Be The Right Fit, You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Visual or any relevant comparable discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in UX design.
- User research, qualitative testing, working with, developing design systems or component libraries required.
- Fluent in Figma or similar software.
- Experience with Design Systems, Wireframes, prototyping and user testing, Information Architecture.
