About the Role

  • The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of sales strategies, management of the end to end sales cycle, and expansion of Alef Education's customer base.
  • The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen, relationship management capabilities, and a deep understanding of educational technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that support Alef's commercial objectives and growth ambitions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets and customer segments
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth
  • Contribute to annual sales planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, industry events, partnerships, digital channels, and direct outreach
  • Conduct market research to identify new customers, sectors, and expansion opportunities
  • Develop compelling value propositions aligned to customer challenges and strategic priorities
  • Build strategic relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, contract execution, and handover
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer requirements
  • Prepare commercial proposals, business cases, and tender responses

To Be The Right Fit, You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline
  • Postgraduate qualification or professional sales certification is desirable
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years experience in sales, business development, account management, or commercial roles
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience within Education, EdTech, SaaS, Technology, or Digital Solutions environments preferred
  • Proven ability to build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships
  • Experience working with public sector and education customers is advantageous
  • Regional networks and relationships and ability to navigate complex external stakeholder environments
  • Experience working with CSR and funding agents locally and internationally
  • Native Arabic communication skills (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Exceptional English communication skills (reading, writing, verbal, presentation)
