Assistant Director – Treasury & Cash Management at a government-related organisation in Dubai.
Senior group treasury role covering the parent entity and subsidiaries, with exposure to banking, liquidity, and financing.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day treasury operations and the team, focusing on efficiency, performance, and business strategy delivery.
- Oversee group and subsidiary bank accounts and reconciliations, including credit cards and online payment portals.
- Place surplus liquidity with financial institutions and negotiate improved rates.
- Support senior management on new and existing financing facilities.
- Prepare annual cash flow forecasts on a monthly rolling basis.
- Manage bank guarantees from receipt through release, renewal, or claims.
- Build and improve treasury policies, procedures, and controls.
- Deliver timely reporting to governance and quality standards.
- Improve treasury systems and processes using international best practices and cost optimisation.
Candidate profile
- Senior-level treasury and cash management experience.
- Experience ideally within a large corporate or government-related entity in the GCC.
- Strong banking relationships and experience negotiating deposit placements and facilities.
- Hands-on command of cash forecasting, reconciliations, and bank guarantee processes.
- Track record building policies and improving processes in a multi-entity group.
- Degree in Finance or Accounting; CFA, CTP, ACCA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
