Develop skills and competencies to progress from ATSEP NDP trainee to ATSEP Engineer.
The role supports the availability and integrity of ATE or ATM systems and equipment within the allocated CNS working position.
Responsibilities and training
- Complete training phases 1 and 2 with minimum delay to progress to ATSEP Engineer.
- Maintain the availability and integrity of ATE or ATM systems and equipment according to the allocated working position within CNS.
- Training is provided in four phases aligned with ICAO Doc 9868 and Manual 10057 on competency-based training and assessment for Air Traffic Electronics Safety Personnel.
Requirements
- Previous experience is not expected; an interest in aviation, particularly Communications, Navigation and Surveillance radar systems, is sought.
- A bachelor’s degree and a valid UAE driving licence are required.
- Provide IELTS band 5.5 or above, or an EmSAT-English score of 1250 or above.
- Candidates should be able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematic diagrams and use Microsoft Office.
- Good attention to detail, communication and organizational skills, and ability to build trusting working relationships are sought.
- Basic technical knowledge of communications, navigation, radar, ATM or other airport systems is advantageous.
