Working alongside qualified mechanics and tradespeople, you’ll provide practical support across vehicle servicing, repairs and general workshop operations. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in maintaining a safe and organised workspace and is willing to help wherever needed.

Join a supportive workplace – become part of a close-knit and collaborative workshop team

Your Role

  • As Trade Assistant, you’ll support the Vehicle Workshop team with day-to-day servicing, repairs and general workshop activities.
  • You’ll assist with vehicle and equipment maintenance, tyre changes, parts collection and deliveries while helping ensure the workshop remains clean, safe and organised. You’ll also accurately record labour, materials and job information to support efficient workshop operations.

Where you’ll make an impact

You bring a safety-focused attitude, strong attention to detail and pride in completing work to a high standard. Previous workshop, automotive or trade-assistant experience will be valuable, but your attitude and willingness to contribute are equally important.

To be successful, you’ll need

A current open manual driver licence

Experience changing tyres

A reliable, flexible and safety-focused approach

The ability to perform physical and manual tasks

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and organisational skills
