Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead tile masons on construction and landscaping projects.
- Interpret drawings, plans, and tile layout designs; ensure tile and stone work meets project specifications.
- Prepare and level surfaces; oversee tile cutting, laying, alignment, finishing, and application of adhesives, grout, and sealants.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, work progress, safety procedures, and PPE use.
- Coordinate with construction and landscaping teams to meet deadlines and resolve site, delay, and quality issues.
- Report progress, manpower requirements, and site issues; maintain quality, proper tool use, and workplace cleanliness.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of tile masonry experience; landscaping or outdoor construction experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tile installation techniques, tools, and materials; experience must be specifically in tiling.
- Leadership experience is required, with experienced tile masons able to lead a team also considered.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Willingness to work outdoors and handle construction materials.
- Plastering or general masonry experience alone will not be considered.
