Maintain gardens, lawns, plants, trees, and landscaped areas.
Responsibilities
- Plant, water, prune, trim, and weed; prepare soil and apply fertilizers.
- Assist with pest and disease control; maintain flower beds, hedges, shrubs, and grass.
- Operate and maintain gardening tools safely; mow and edge lawns and perform general upkeep.
- Keep garden areas clean and debris-free; follow supervisor instructions and complete tasks on time.
- Follow outdoor health and safety procedures and report plant, equipment, or maintenance issues.
Requirements
- Previous gardening, landscaping, or garden maintenance experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plants, gardening tools, and maintenance techniques.
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Hardworking, reliable, able to work as part of a team, follow instructions, and maintain good work standards.
