The Test Analyst will join the ICT Test team and support testing for applications and systems being implemented or upgraded.
Testing activities will follow the defined test strategy and approach.
Knowledge and experience
- A basic understanding of software testing principles is required.
- A strong interest in testing, curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and question issues are important.
- Awareness of Oracle Cerner EPR applications such as PMOffice, PowerChart, and FirstNet is desirable.
- ISTQB Foundation certification or willingness to work toward it is desirable.
- Awareness of HL7 messaging is advantageous.
Testing responsibilities
- Gather test requirements from complex technical project requirements and produce test specifications and scripts.
- Create and store test scripts in the test repository.
- Execute test scripts according to the test plan and schedule.
- Conduct and manage witness testing of UAT by end users.
- Check test coverage against the agreed level.
- Capture defects accurately with the necessary test steps.
- Develop and maintain manual regression test packs.
Quality assurance
- Liaise with third-party suppliers and internal IT teams to ensure quality assurance standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Work location
- The role is primarily based at Paddington.
- Travel between NWL ICS sites may be required depending on service needs.
