Coordinate implementation of creative technology solutions for events and exhibitions in Dubai, UAE.
Three-month contract supporting planning, testing, deployment, and onsite execution, with attention to technical reliability, service quality, and client and event requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review client briefs and technical specifications and coordinate event technology requirements with operational and production needs.
- Coordinate suppliers and vendors for equipment delivery, installation, testing, recovery, and service support; monitor performance and escalate readiness issues.
- Support technology troubleshooting and corrective actions during event build-up, live operations, and dismantling.
- Supervise or support setup, mock-ups, testing, commissioning, and onsite delivery in line with plans, standards, schedules, and safety requirements.
- Track equipment condition, use, availability, inventory, allocation, and preventive maintenance.
- Evaluate creative technology solutions and visual technology concepts for stands and event environments.
- Align technology plans with creative, production, operations, logistics, and project teams, venue constraints, and client expectations.
- Review deployments after events, record lessons learned, recommend improvements, and propose solutions that enhance delivery and audience engagement.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Event Technology, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in event technology coordination or AV services.
Required skills and knowledge
- Familiarity with AV equipment, lighting, sound systems, and interactive technologies.
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills, strong organization, and attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure, solve problems quickly, and communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Understanding of event production workflows and health and safety regulations related to event technology.
Workplace
- The role includes onsite event setup, operations, and dismantling.
