  • Review Arabic drafts against English sources for legal terms, tone, and meaning; maintain bilingual glossaries and approved templates.
  • Refer documents requiring sworn or court-certified translation to certified legal translators and track their return.

Lease administration and legal matters

  • Prepare and check lease agreements, addenda, renewals, terminations, and settlement letters.
  • Support Tawtheeq registrations, renewals, and cancellations on relevant government platforms; maintain registration records.
  • Proofread contracts, service agreements, POAs, and official letters for completeness and consistency.
  • Assemble case files and evidence for rental disputes, collection escalations, and legal referrals; prepare Arabic notices and submissions for review.
  • Track hearing dates, submission deadlines, outcomes, and legal matters.

Records and stakeholder support

  • Maintain audit-ready physical and digital files; monitor lease expiries, notice periods, registrations, and renewals.
  • Provide legal status data for operational and monthly reports; follow relevant ADREC circulars and tenancy regulations.
  • Liaise in Arabic with tenants, government entities, municipalities, and authorities; support Al Ain site visits and meetings as needed.
  • Provide cover across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain estates, handle confidential information, and follow company policies, HSSE requirements, and quality procedures.

Knowledge and qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Abu Dhabi tenancy law, lease documentation, and Tawtheeq registration processes.

  • Native-level Arabic and professional fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of Abu Dhabi experience as a paralegal or legal translator in a translation organization, law firm, or in-house legal team.
  • Experience with the UAE Ministry of Justice and/or ADJD, and commercial contracts and lease documents under the ADJD framework.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Translation, Arabic/English Language, or a related field. A UAE Ministry of Justice legal translator licence is advantageous; a UAE driving licence is preferred for Abu Dhabi–Al Ain travel.

Job-specific skills
