Role overview

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Technology Architecture, target landscape, architecture standards, principles, guidelines, platforms, and strategic capabilities.
• Assess the current landscape against target architecture; identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and modernization requirements; develop and maintain roadmaps.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and their business and technology value; review major technology selections and recommend options.
• Align technology decisions with Enterprise Architecture, standards, and target architecture; collaborate with Application, Data, Infrastructure, Security, and Enterprise Architects.
• Support modernization, transformation, and rationalization initiatives; guide strategic programs; maintain documentation, standards, models, and decision records.
• Monitor compliance with approved architecture standards and principles and support governance and strategic technology decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10–15+ years of experience in Technology Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, or related technology roles.
• Significant experience defining and governing Technology Architecture in large, complex organizations.
• Strong experience in technology strategy, target architecture, roadmaps, and technology landscape modernization.
• Strong understanding of technology platforms, infrastructure, cloud, networks, enterprise systems, and architecture governance.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship with Application, Data, Infrastructure, and Security Architecture.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Banking or financial services experience is highly preferred; SAMA-regulated environment experience is an advantage.
• TOGAF or another recognized Enterprise/Technology Architecture certification is preferred.
