Define, maintain, and govern Application Architecture across enterprise and banking environments.
Develop current-state and target-state application landscapes and align application designs with approved Enterprise Architecture.
Responsibilities
- Define application architecture principles, standards, guidelines, components, relationships, and dependencies.
- Define and maintain integration and API architecture; assess dependencies, impacts, and technology risks.
- Identify architecture gaps and ensure designs comply with approved Enterprise Architecture standards.
- Review and approve application architecture and solution designs.
- Support application modernization, rationalization, and transformation initiatives.
- Align architecture with business capabilities and requirements; collaborate with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Security, Data, Infrastructure, and development teams.
- Maintain application repositories, models, and documentation; monitor compliance with approved standards and principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Application Architecture, Solution Architecture, Software Architecture, or related roles.
- Strong application architecture and landscape design experience; understanding of API, integration, distributed architectures, dependencies, interfaces, and integration patterns.
- Experience with modernization, rationalization, transformation, architecture governance, design reviews, and technology standards.
- Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles and frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
- Experience in a SAMA-regulated environment is an advantage.
- TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architecture, or similar certification is preferred.
