Define solution architecture across application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure domains, aligning with target architecture, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solutions and translate business requirements into scalable, secure, practical technology solutions.
- Align proposed solutions with Enterprise Architecture, standards, and target architecture; define current-state and target-state architecture and identify gaps.
- Evaluate technology and solution options and provide architecture recommendations.
- Define application components, integrations, APIs, interfaces, and dependencies; ensure interoperability between existing and new systems.
- Review solution designs and provide architecture recommendations and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with security, technology, regulatory, and organizational requirements; identify risks, dependencies, constraints, and impacts.
- Collaborate with business, application, data, security, infrastructure architects, and technical teams; participate in architecture governance and monitor compliance.
- Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and decision records; support modernization, transformation, and application rationalization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ total years of experience, including 7+ years in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or related roles.
- Strong experience designing end-to-end technology solutions and understanding application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure architecture.
- Experience with APIs, integration patterns, interfaces, distributed systems, technology evaluation, and architecture assessments.
- Strong Enterprise Architecture principles, standards, and governance knowledge; experience identifying architectural risks, dependencies, and gaps.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
- Experience in a SAMA-regulated environment is an advantage.
- TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architecture, or similar certification is preferred.
