Role Overview
The Technician supports Gate 3 and 4 in the Aviation and Aero Engine MRO Operations department.
The role reports to a Supervisor or Principal Technician and supports aviation safety and an ethical, open team culture.
This is a full-time direct employment position at Grade 15 in the Aviation and Aero Engine MRO division.
The role has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Perform engine disassembly, assembly, and inspection in support of Gate 3 and 4 processes.
- Follow approved technical data and meet customer and shareholder commitments and aviation and HS&E requirements.
- Promote fairness, integrity, and ethical behavior; raise concerns about inappropriate conduct and value honest feedback.
- Develop technical skills and mentor junior technicians.
- Assist with tool and equipment availability and monitor regulatory compliance, addressing discrepancies promptly.
Candidate requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training in aviation, aeronautical engineering, MRO, or a related discipline.
- At least one year of experience in the technical aviation or MRO industry.
- Strong knowledge of aero engine MRO processes and proficiency with relevant IT tools.
- Commitment to quality and safety management; communication and interpersonal skills; adaptability and innovative thinking.
- Attention to detail, safety consciousness, time management, analytical problem-solving, accountability, and professional integrity.
Team and development
Work closely with supervisors and principal technicians.
