Senior Officer - Configuration and Material Control

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration control and enter engine configuration data and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain Engine On/Off Logs and Module Parts Tracking Lists for traceability.
• Finalize LLP lists, configuration summaries, and accessory checklists before engine release.
• Validate incoming accessory data, report discrepancies, and update CMRO part numbers using Java screens or upload templates.
• Maintain documentation standards and respond to customer or auditor document queries.
• Support continuous improvement in documentation quality and turnaround time.
• Track milestones for configuration readiness and maintain proficiency in CMRO and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or associate degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related technical field; a bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of progressive aviation MRO experience, particularly in configuration management or technical records.
• Experience with ERP software for task planning, job-card management, technical publications, and configuration management.
• Experience in technical planning using ERP systems such as Oracle.
• Strong understanding of OEM manuals, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and LLP tracking processes.
• Technical authoring familiarity or a technician background is desirable.

Skills

• Configuration and traceability skills covering serialized parts, configuration nodes, LLPs, and related records.
• Proficiency with CMRO and related ERP tools, Microsoft Excel, configuration reporting, and data uploads.
• Knowledge of GCAA, EASA, and OEM documentation standards.
• Accuracy in data entry, auditing, documentation, and reporting.
• Effective coordination with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.
